It's been an exciting week! Last Friday, I packed up a freshly groomed Armani and headed to meet my friend Melissa Whitmore of Starlit Poodles in West Monroe, LA. From there, I picked up Melissa, her standard poodle Bentley (Armani's brother), and 2 mini poodle pups that she was taking to the dog show to be evaluated by Betty Brown.
While there, I helped her play with and feed her poodles. She has 3 mini puppies now who are just 6 weeks old. Boy, were they cute!
We also re-united Armani with his brother Bentley. They had been separated for 3 months, as Armani came to live with me and Bentley has been living with Melissa. I was a little uncertain of how they would be, but they acted like old buddies and got along beautifully!
We packed up and headed to the dog show with a promise to see Margot upon return, my white girl I had placed with a neighbor and friend of Melissa's 3 months ago.
We were all very excited to get going!
