Margot Showing in Glen Rose This Weekend; Three Puppies Left for Their New Homes

Everyone keep your fingers crossed for Margot. It's a major in standard poodles, which means if she wins, she will get a few points towards her championship and they will be majors. In order to become a champion, a dog must accumulate 15 points including 2 majors. The competition will be stiff this weekend, but she is in good hands and I feel confident she will be presented well. We are also planning to show in Alexandria, LA at the end of this month and in Hattiesburg, MS at the end of next month.

In other news, "Daphne," "Beau," and now "Zeus" have left for their new homes. I have one male puppy available that I was planning to show and use as a stud dog later on, but have decided that in order to keep my indoor dog population manageable, I had better just keep my little girl and let the rest go. In another 2 years, it will be Margot's turn to be a mother and in 3 years, I'll be planning my girl's litter. A lot can happen in that timeframe, and my puppies deserve the highest quality of life and individual attention they can get, so on that note, I decided to not to keep a boy this go round. He is a beautiful, loving, and robust puppy. He was the largest male at birth and stayed that way. He is absolutely gorgeous. Please call if interested. I like to keep my puppies close to home, but will make exceptions for the right family.
