Good bye to 2010 and I hope that 2011 will be as grand. 2010 was the year for my exciting Comet x Dino litter and truly was a gift for me. My first puppy of that litter left on Monday and although I miss her presence, her new family adores her and has already sent me half a dozen pictures. I am feeling so honored to have bred this litter and so very proud of these babies. The pup who left (white girl) has been named "Daphne" and "Beau" (orange male) is leaving on Wed. of this week. "Derbigny" is going home on the 11th and of course I am keeping a female who yet needs a name. Being a fan of the show True Blood and a Lousianaian I am tempted to call her Sookie. The other 2 boys will be off in no time at all and I'll have "almost empty nest syndrome." Whenever I am feeling sad, though, I just start brushing Comet or Margot's tedious show coat and I am instantly struck by the reality that I can't keep them all or even half of them! Happy New Year!!!!!
